LHSA Ombra's Penumbra is our gentle 2019 TB female. Penumbra's Dam is in the top 3 females on our farm according to her fiber biopsy statistics and Penumbra is in the top 4! Her sire, GLR Moab genetics show in her luster and blue black color with no tipping.

Take a look at Penumbra's histogram from SGS! Here are her highlights: MFD 16.4, SD 4.5, Fibers >30 1.4%, Mean Staple Length 131. LHSA Ombra's Penumbra was Biopsied at 2 yrs. Her results revealed a Density of 76.5 micron! Her primaries were 30.3, secondaries 21.9, S/P 13.2. Penumbra's AFD is 22.49.

LHSA Ombra's Penumbra possesses a out-going & friendly temperament and is halter trained. Looking at her sire and dam's results, we are expecting amazing fiber results from this female.

Sire: GLR Moab's histogram, taken at 2 years old. MFD 20.4, SD 4.7, Mean Staple Length 260mm. His Skin Biopsy revealed a density of 40.75, Primaries 30.01, Secondaries 21.4, S/P 8.2. Moab's AFD is 22.35

Dam: GLR Ombra's fiber biopsy results from 2019 at 5 years! Density 76.75, Secondaries 20.2,
Primaries 27.8, Spread 7.6, AFD 20.88. Her Histogram highlights at 5 yrs are MFD 24.1, SD 6. Fibers >30 11.70%.


**A word about the health practices at Long Hollow Suri Alpacas… We take the health of our herd seriously.
• All alpacas are vaccinated annually, and bred females are vaccinated 30-60 days prior to birth of their cria.
• Fecal flotations are performed on EACH individual alpaca monthly and treatment is completed on a per alpaca basis.
• All alpacas receive monthly injections as a precaution against meningeal worm.
• Bred females receive a minimum of 1 ultrasound performed onsite by a veterinarian and our veterinary technician.

We interact daily with all our animals to ensure any medical needs are addressed as needed and this improves their socialization.
