Product Description
We have been raising Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs for approximately 16 years. All of our puppies are born in the barn with our alpacas and learn early on to live with, co-exist with, and protect our herd.
Our next litter is anticipated in spring of 2024. If you’re interested in a puppy or you'd like to be put on our "puppy waiting list" please contact us and we'll let you know when we have any future puppies available.
Price for our puppies, as of December 1, 2022, is $1,250 and they may be used as breeding dogs. Purchase of a puppy from us includes:
1. Initial puppy shots and booster
2. Worming
3. Microchip
4. Training on our farm until they are 12 weeks of age (longer if requested)
Our puppies are guaranteed against hip issues for 1 year from date of purchase. We request a $625 deposit to hold a puppy for you. Balance is due when puppies are 6 weeks old.
If your puppy will be a pet, you can take it home beginning at 8 weeks of age. If going as a working dog, with a mentor dog, you can take it home at 12 weeks. And, if going as a working dog without a mentor, we will keep it here on the farm, with our adults, until approx. 16 weeks of age. Puppies staying on our farm beyond 4 months of age will be charged board of $100/month.
Our goal is to have your puppy ready for its new home, and not set it up to fail! Too often breeders send new puppies home when they aren't ready to do a "job" and then you, the new owner, are left struggling, trying to figure out why your 10 week old puppy isn't happy living outside with your livestock!
We have many customer references all across the country from farms who have purchased our puppies over the years. Many of our customers are repeat puppy customers, coming back for a second, third, or fourth puppy from our farm! We pride ourselves on our reputation for our Pyrenees puppies and stand behind them after the sale.
Please contact us if you're looking for proven guards, ready to go to work on your farm. We occasionally have adult dogs or older pups available as farms who are down-sizing or moving out of livestock will contact us with dogs they need to place on new farms. We are very particular about the dogs we accept to re-home and will forward on all known information on them to any new owners.
