Shavano is our half Accoyo true black herdsire who with his second crop of cria entering the show ring this spring, just won the prestigous title of AAA Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year. His luster, lock and density are extreme and very rare for a black suri. His mother, GLL Macatawa is a medium fawn daughter of 4 P Macusani, one of our foundation grand dams,who has had 8 female crias in a row and no males. Shavano's sire is 4P Miguel, a white full accoyo male. As a juvenile, Shavano won his class and the Black Color Championship at the 2006 AAA Futurity, and was the Reserve Black Color Champion at the 2006 MAPACA show. As a yearling he was first in his class at the 2007 AAA Futurity and AOBA. His first crias were outstanding and were shown in 2009. We only showed two of his kids, GLR Arappaho, now owned by Linda Kondris of Pines Edge Suri Alpacas in Colorado, who was Black Color Champion at both AOBA and MAPACA, and GLR Tica who was Brown Reserve Color Champion at AAA Futurity and
