His 1st daughter ended up with 6 blues and three banners before retiring, including the AOA Nationals (2017) and the Futurity (2017). And the sons went on to garner several more firsts and seconds under highly respected senior judges.
In the 2015 SHIP program rankings, he garnered a wopping 4.4 out of 5. In the EPD rankings, WAPU ranked 4th of 3,394 for fleece weight and 21st for mean staple length. WOW! He was featured at the 2013, 2014 and 2015 AOBA National Conference as a Rank Leader by ARI!

Description
LCA Inca's Reya is a full Peruvian lady (62.5% Accoyo) who offers some of the best genetics we acquired from Latah Creek Alpacas. The first two offspring of her dam, Tunita, were both AOBA Color Champions. Now one of these daughters (maternal sister to Reya) has gone on to produce color champions of her own.
As a testament to Reya's elite suri fleece and excellent conformation, she took 2nd place at the 2007 Futurity in the large and extremely competitive white juvenile class as well as a 2nd at the 2008 Alpacapalooza and a 1st at the 2008 PNAA Showcase. She has it all! Fineness, density, lock structure, coverage all the way down to her toes, and of course, unbeatable genetics!
Amanda VandenBosch, AOBA's premier showring judge, commented during her evaluation that Reya is a well grown out female, correct in her conformation...she has a good re-growth to her fleece and moderate handle."
Reya was paired with the incomparable Teton for her first cria (06/09); and he was SPECTACULAR; even at two weeks, he exhibited the spectacular lock all the way to the skin, and shining luster. Reya was a great first time mom, very protective, and with tons of milk.
Her second cria, SDAF Naomi, a stunning light colored fawn female produced in July, 2010, is a gorgeous reproduction of herself and bettered by the fawn colored sire, our National AOBA Color Champion, the incomparable Accoyo America Cochise (full Peruvian, 50% Accoyo) now deceased. In 2015 she produced an incredible male out of Super Suri's Dusty. He was awarded one blue and two seconds in the three shows in which he appeared.
Her newest 2018 Cria is a gorgeous female sired by WAPU, our Kahuna son...she arrived August 19, 2018, textbook delivery, up and running in under an hour!
