We love this little girl!
Lyric's dam Made You Look is a Chakotah/Kahuna multi colored daughter and we wanted to breed her but weren't sure which direction to take her. We ultimately chose, Bojack's Midnight as we wanted to infuse Goldstar genetics with the Kahuna line and not only was it a great match, the coloring on Lyric is just beautiful!
Lyric was born medium brown with black socks on all four feet, nose and ear tips plus 2 black stripes across her top line. Now that she has been shorn, we're seeing shades of grey come in on her back side and legs. It will be interesting to see how her colors develop as she ages.
We would have loved to enter her in shows this year, unfortunately, Covid-19 ended that hope for us.
We did enter her fleece in the Suri Network and Nationals fleece shows. Unfortunately, the judges moved her from indefinite dark to the brown class, then gave her points off for not having uniformity of color...go figure!
Lyric has a wonderful calm temperament and a great head/conformation. Her fleece has a cool slick handle with lovely flat locking. If you're a black or grey breeder, you can take this girl in either direction as she has the powerhouse genetics to make it happen!
