Bit'O'Honey is a 1/4 Accoyo bloodline fawn female out of 5P Fawn Fare and Gold Jubilee, a 1/2 Accoyo Uribe son. She is a great production dam, producing 6 crias, 3 males and 3 females, all show competitive.
Description
Taffy is a very pretty and stylish female, with beautiful luster and locking. She was shown as a juvenile and then yearling, and placed well in the shows. She has a nice uniform fleece, with a 21.9 AFD obtained during her last shearing 5/9/15! She is proven, with her first cria Hershey Bit's by Yodi's Creation born in August 2013. Hershey Bit's is dark brown and was sold.
We discovered that Taffy Bit's is willing to foster crias and her milk will come in and she will nurse them EVEN WITHOUT HAVING HER OWN CRIA! What a great dam to have on the farm. She is easy-going, leads well, and is a calm and easy to handle alpaca. This proven dam is PERFECT for the newer breeders.
Taffy Bit's dam is Fawn's Peruvian Bit'O'Honey, a dark fawn, high luster 1/4 Accoyo Uribe granddaughter with good density, luster, and lock. Unfortunately, we could not find a picture of her.
Her sire is MFI Accoyo Gold Rush, a fawn Accoyo Gold son. Accoyo Gold Rush is the grand son of 2Peruvian Accoyo Uribe (MF) and Accoyo Eleuteria (MF), 2 rare fawn Accoyos imported into the US in the early 1990's. Accoyo Gold, their son, is the sire of Gold Rush. All the Accoyo lineage produce heavy fleece weights with intense luster and lock. Gold Rush's grand dam is Accoyo Lyris (white), an Accoyo Torbio daughter know for her incredibly bright luster and density. This 5/8 Accoyo bloodline female carries the density from the top Accoyo herd sires, and several generations of fawn bloodlines.
Taffy Bit's is currently open and ready to breed. She can be bred to a Wild Rose Suri Ranch or Rainbow Mountain Alpacas herd sire for a greatly reduced fee with her purchase.
