Description

Laura is a high luster white with 2 fawn parents. She has great color genetics in her background, and has proven that she can produce color with her 4 crias: Barbara D - dark fawn, Golden Winchester - light brown, Charlie Remington - medium fawn , and Longshanks - light fawn. She is a good production dam, getting bred easily with good deliveries of healthy crias. Her sire is a champion, and her dam has produced champions!

Laura's sire is Pistol, a dark fawn Champion that has produced many champion crias in fawns, blacks, and greys. With over 45 registered crias, he is a top herd sire for Wildlife Ranch in Colorado. Pistol's dam, 5Peruvian Clairabellle is a full Peruvian medium brown import. She has produced two of the finest show winning herd sires for Wildlife Ranch, Gray Illuminator and Pistol. Pistol's sire is Gunsmoke, a 4P Condor appaloosa son, well know for his ability to produce show-winning modern grey appys.

Laura's dam, Lumina, is a beautiful fine-fleeced fawn full Peruvian and excellent foundation dam. She has tremendous mothering capability. In 2003, Lumina delivered a multiple color champion Olivia Tickle sired by Bruxo who won 3 Color Championships.

Laura is not currently bred, but can be bred to a Wild Rose Suri Ranch or Rainbow Mountain Alpacas herd sire for a greatly reduced fee with her purchase.
