Brenda Quinones met the suri alpacas of Wildlife Ranch Suri Alpacas at the Great Western Alpaca Show on April 30, 2016, and won her gateway alpaca now known as "Obsidian's Queen."
She has since spent the last year mentoring under Jim Weir, Connie Marrs, and Mike Glass, and agisting her animals at Wildlife Ranch Suri Alpacas in Littleton, Colorado. Brenda's herd grew to 24 when she acquired Wildlife Ranch Suri Alpacas as a turnkey suri alpaca breeding and fiber business after Jim and Connie announced their impending retirement to spend their golden years in the leisure of lake living.

Brenda's first year included the incredible experience of being awarded two Reserve Champion banners and a blue ribbon at the AOA National Show in Denver, Colorado in March, 2017, and a Color Champion banner and two blue ribbons at GWAS in Denver in May, 2017, for her rose grey and silver grey juvenile suri alpacas.

Brenda will move her animals onto her ranch located 20 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado at the end of the summer of 2017, and will endeavor to carry Jim and Connie's legacy of producing champion suri alpacas into the future. She will continue their excellent breeding philosophy, superior nutritional and healthcare program, daily care and training activities, and will introduce her fine alpaca products into the marketplace.

For more information on agisting (boarding) services, breeding services, alpaca sales, or alpaca fiber products please contact Brenda at Manisa Ranch Suri Alpacas.
