The GANg in the trees.

The Alpaca GANg was established by Jerad Gan & Ed Gan in 2014 as a breeding and fiber farm. Jerad has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Fashion design from The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. After spending ten years in the fashion industry working for licensing companies with labels such as Ann Lewin, Dockers, Jockey, Steve Madden, Olsenboye, Disney Couture and Rebook as well as teaching at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Jerad chose to move back to his home community of Bond County to further his exploration of the fashion industry by establishing a breeding and fiber farm with his father Ed.
It is the mission of The Alpaca GANg to create a "green" and organic farming community with an emphasis on high quality fibers to be used in the creation of superior alpaca products. We strive to develop and maintain a blood line that is definitive of the fine, dense fleece qualities that one looks for when making luxury garments and goods.
We believe there are three C's to success which are Consistency, Communication and Confidence. The Alpaca GANg follows consistency in the selective process needed to continually create the qualities coveted by the makers of luxury garments. We strive to keep a consistent routine in the daily lives of our alpacas which is a process they crave for a healthy lifestyle. We will always communicate with fiber vendors and designers of the end product to keep a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing needs within the fashion and fabric industry. We are confident in our process as well as the quality of the end-result product that our alpaca's fleece creates.
